South Africans are starting to get suspicious because of all the celebrity deaths that we have witnessed in 2023 alone. These deaths have left a lot of people confused and worried about which of their favorite celebrities might die next. It’s really sad to see that so many fans have been losing their role models and icons, and it doesn’t seem to be stopping it’s continuing.
Well, so far in the year 2023, we have lost over 4 celebrities in the music industry, and some of them died because of gun violence.
1. AKA.
We all felt it when we woke up to the news that Kiernan Forbes, had passed away after getting shot in the head by some unidentified men while coming out of a club in KZN. His funeral was even the hardest to watch as we had to witness the family and friends of AKA lay him to rest knowing they will never see him again.
2. Vusi Ma R5.
Vusi was known for his Bacardi style of music, and because of this he was loved and admired by many in Pretoria. He, unfortunately, was also a victim of gun violence as he was shot dead in Pretoria about a month ago.
3. Pencil from Pencil and Zing master.
Many used to listen to Pencil and Zingmaster back in 2015 when they released their hottest singles, and they even made a song with the late Ricky Rick called “Vuk’uzenzele”, which was a hit, because you would hear it almost everywhere. Well, about a few days ago it’s said that Pencil passed away.
4. Costa Titch.
I’m sure that this story will most likely leave a lot of people in shock and pain. It was announced yesterday around midnight that Costa Titch had collapsed and died while performing, and so far there are no full details as to what has been the cause of death.
It’s hard to accept losing someone you look up to, and some of these celebrities were icons to a lot of South Africans and Africans out there, so may their souls Rest in internal peace.
