It has now been confirmed that the entertainment industry has lost another talented singer.
Samuel Moripe was a South African media personality from Pretoria, Atteridgeville. The late Moripe was popular known for singing Barcadi by the name of DJ Pencil. He was a local artist but loved and known by many people especially in the streets of Pretoria. Moripe as a musician gave the public songs such as Suna Papa, Serope Kontle and Tshwara Tshwara.
Samuel has unfortunately passed away yesterday at a hospital in Tshwane. It is revealed that Moripe who was 40 years old died from Leukemia Cancer.
Speaking about his passing, his mother being Mpoele Moripe said, “I am not well at all. I have lost a lot. My son and i were very close”.
“He moved to his bedroom and was sleeping with me so that i can monitor him. I wasn’t sleeping, always checking up on him. Sometimes i would check if he is still alive”, Mpoele Moripe said.
