Did you know Doctor Khumalo was married to a Namibian

Ex-professional soccer player from South Africa, Theophilus Doctorson Khumalo. On this day in 1967, the world welcomed the future “Dr. Khumalo.” He’s made a name for himself in the acting world. The area of Soweto in Johannesburg, South Africa was the location of his birth on June 26, 1967.


 

 

 

 

One of his four children was killed in a car crash in 2017. He wed the Namibian hostess and beauty Blanche Garishes, and the two of them had a son. According to her, the breakdown of their marriage was due to his emotional abuse. In Namibia, they threw a grand wedding party. Since the split, he has had no contact with his ex-wife or their children.

In 1984, he signed on with the football club Swallows Reserves. He then made the move to Kaizer Chiefs, where he quickly became a member of the young team. Growing up, Eliakim Khumalo saw and learned from his famous father, a player in his own right in the ’70s and ’80s. When he was called up to the big league team, though, his career took off. Khumalo is currently employed as a technical coach for Baroka Fc.
