Dintle had initially thought she had finally found love after Quinton died. She met and Reggie and the two connected and fell in love. They had their ups and downs, where Reggie’s son did not want anything to do with Dintle, but fortunately the two were able to move past that. The bomb dropped on their wedding day, Dintle’s mother showed up after Reggie and Dintle said their vows. Dintle had just married her biological father. The two were heartbroken after receiving the DNA results confirming the news.

However, February teasers show that Reggie and Dintle could be thinking of continuing with their relationship/marriage despite knowing that they are father and daughter. According to the teasers, on 21 February 2023, Dintle and Reggie come to an agreement on a way forward that doesn’t sit well with their families. The teasers go on to say that on Wednesday, 22 February 2023, “An immoral relationship continues to divide a family”. It seems that it won’t be easy for the two to stay away from each other, or to move on from their romantic relationship.
