Shauwn “Mamkhize” Mkhize, a soccer tycoon and socialite, has a strong message for cyberbullies: to stop maliciously using her name to gain popularity and influence. This came after a false account called SA KwaMamkhize started the rumors that the rapper’s death was a hit ordered by the father of his late fiancee, Moses Temba, a prominent businessman.
FAKE ACCOUNTS
After the fake Mamkhize post went viral, other people started spreading fake information and conspiracy theories on the internet. Some even added old reports in which Tembe was quoted as saying that he doesn’t think his daughter killed herself. That businessman issued a statement that refuted the allegations shortly after. In addition, an angry Mamkhize has come forward to clear her name, citing the fact that these unwelcome comments are beginning to harm her and those close to her. Mamkhize also spoke harshly to those who are misusing her name, threatening to act immediately if they did not stop. She stated, “You have now pushed me to the edge, I have been silent for a long time.” Mamkhize, according to sources, was informed of the phony accounts on various social media platforms but did not take them seriously until AKA’s death. According to sources close to the situation, Mamkhize was forced to react when she was informed by prominent business people in her circles about the damages that her fake account has caused to the Tembe family and other high-profile people, particularly in KwaZulu-Natal. At first, she had never imagined that her reputation could be harmed by fake accounts. She ignored them for a very long time, but this time they have pushed their luck too far.
“Normally Mamkhize does not bother herself with silly rumours, but once that post reached Moses Tembe and his circles, he was taken aback, because they know each other, regard her as the sister, and, most importantly, they share mutual friends.” However, the source claims that Tembe was assured that Makhize had nothing to do with it, and that the account in question is a forged one.
MAMKHIZE SPEAKS
“It has been brought to my attention that there are fake social media accounts in my name,” She added, “I would like to call on the SA Twitter, Facebook, and Tiktok to join in and take action against these scammers.” She added that the scammers had also been defrauding people of their hard-earned money by using her name. She also pleaded with people to stop following fake accounts because she only has one verified Instagram account. She went on to say, “I only have one verified Instagram account, and people must stop following those accounts. I am not a forex trader and I will never do forex. All I do is encourage people.”
INSENSITIVE COMMENTS
Mamkhize states that she is not doing well because these accounts are disseminating rumors and sensitive information while also making use of her name to harass individuals and involve her in activities that she has nothing to do with. She stated, “This is not right, guys because these people are putting their own opinions on things I didn’t say at all and saying sensitive things.” The reality star claims to be aware that she expresses her opinions, but she has no knowledge or opinion regarding AKA’s death. She continued, “I would like to distance myself from this because it has nothing to do with me.” Mamkhize claims her silence has been excessive.
