The passing of Zamanguni Gumede, the mother of popular musician and producer, Mampintsha, came as a shock as it was announced today.
Daily Sun broke the news. It was stated by Pinki Gumede, who is Mampintsha’s sister, that their mother was sick with an unspecified illness and was hospitalized shortly after the funeral of the late Mampintsha.

Mampintsha’s mother, ZamaNguni Gumede, passed away after a brief illness just one month after the death of her well-known son. She passed away Sunday night at the Wentworth hospital at the age of 64. Pinki Gumede, Mampintsha’s sister, informed the Daily Sun that she had passed away suddenly. She claimed to have paid her a daytime visit.
She appeared to be fine when I left her. She even cracked jokes at us, and we all laughed. As a result, Pinki stated, “When I left her, she was in good spirits and I really thought she was getting better.” However, this was not the case because she was summoned back to the hospital hours later.
When I got the call from the hospital, I was just about to go to sleep. She wanted to see us, so I was told to hurry to her bedside. She was already surrounded by doctors and nurses attempting to assist her when I arrived, and she was already on drips.
