A businesswoman and social media personality by the name of Nomthandazo Nkwanyana recently went viral on Facebook after posting a shocking story about a woman who allegedly conned her out of R10,000. Miss Nkwanyana wrote on the message board, “Please assist me in locating Zinhle Tricia Jonase, as she has absconded with 10,000 rands.”

 

 

 

It would appear that Nomthandazo has filed a complaint against Miss Jonase, and the police have been searching for her ever since November of the previous year. At one point in time, these two ladies were partners in a stokvel and saved ten thousand rands each and every month.
A stokvel is a special kind of credit union in which a group of people make a pact to contribute a predetermined sum of money each week to a communal fund.
