Vatiswa Ndara is a South African actress. Best known for playing the Modiehi on Sabc2’s Tshivenda soapie Muvhango from 2015 to 2018.
She began her acting career on Sabc1’s popular soapie Generations, where she played the role of Mamfundisi. Over the years, Vatiswa has starred on a number of shows including Tsha Tsha, Home Affairs, Society and Gaz’lam.
She also starred on Mzansi Magic’s sunday night drama series Igazi as Nomarussia, and on Sabc2’s Tshivenda soapie Muvhango.
The actress wrote an open letter to the Minister of Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa back in October 2019, the letter trended and caused a lot of commotion after it was shared on Twitter, The letter she alleged that a production company, that she once worked for, mistreated actors in the industry.
Vatiswa recently opened up that she attempted to commit suicide and how.
According to the source, the actress allegedly tried to end her life after she was ousted from the SABC for laying a sexual assualt complaint against a colleague.
She lost gigs because of the scandal and she tried to commit suicide. She shared that she took Jeyes Fluid, Handy Andy, pills and Jik to try and kill herself.
Luckily she survived and she is still alive and well.
