Crime in South Africa has been on the rise and many people are becoming victims on a daily basis. The latest to be affected by this is South African Amapino singer Lady Du.
The singer shared her terrible experience on Twitter this morning. She said she was helping a woman who approached her crying that her husband had beaten her and she needed money for her school kids. Lady Du sympathized with the crying woman and went to the ATM with her to withdraw money. The next moment a man appeared out of nowhere and snatched her wallet and belongings. Crying woman was nowhere to be found after the incident, she shared.
Lady Du said she was okay with what happened and just needed to replace some of her lost items, including her ID card and driver’s license. Her followers also expressed sympathy for her, saying how they understood how badly this would affect her. However, the singer said it will not change the kind of a person she is, she will continue to help those in need.
