Here is why LaConco and the other ladies are not returning to season 3 of RHOD

Showmax has provided an explanation as to why three of its popular series, The Real Housewives of Durban, stars, Thobile Mseleku aka MaKhumalo, Nonkanyiso Conco aka LaConco and Londiwe aka Londie London, are not returning for the latest season.

The news of the three stars not returning caused a stir on Twitter, with their names trending as fans noticed their absence from the newly announced cast. Showmax has now cleared the air on why the three stars are not returning for a third season.

 

Showmax told TshisaLive that the trio have other gigs.

“Londie is now based in Johannesburg while MaKhumalo and LaConco have new hosting gigs on Mzansi Wethu’s new reality series Ezomshado and Mzansi Magic’s Our Perfect Wedding respectively. We’re grateful for everything they brought to the show but are delighted with the mix of old and new faces this season, which is going to be a cracker”. Lerato Moruti said, a reality and entertainment local channels senior manager.

Showmax will kickoff the new year with the return of The Real Housewives of Durban, launching on 1 February 2023. Season 3 introduces three new cast members who will be bringing all the class, glamour, sass and drama we’ve come to love and expect from the franchise.

Durban queens Maria Valaskatzis, Mbali Ngiba and Slindile Wendy Ndlovu are the new additions to the reality series. The new faces are set join returning cast members Annie Mthembu, Jojo Robinson, Nonku Williams and Sorisha Naidoo.
