Born Bongekile Simelane, publicity known as Babes Wodumo is a 28 year old South African dancer, musician and recording artist. Bongekile was born and bred in KZN Durban in a small township of Lamontville, she is a pastor’s kid but this did not stop her from chasing her dreams.

In December 2022, Afrotainment under DJ Tira released a statement telling the public that Mampintsha was admitted to the hospital at the 17th of December after a minor stroke but things took a bad turn on the 24th of December as Mampintsha passed away.
His memorial service was at the 26th of that month and he was buried on the 30th of December 2022. On his burial service Babes Wodumo jokingly said that her husband died without giving her his phone password and everyone laughed but on the 4th of January 2023,
