In 2021 they had their first child, even though Babes’ parents didn’t know. They have a reality show, “uthando lodumo,” which premiered on the Showmax channel (495). Her husband later passed away in December 2022, due to a stroke.

Ever since the passing of Mampintsha Babes Wodumo has been trending. This started after she stood up and started dancing at Mampintsha’s memorial service which was held on 23 December. This got people talking saying she was wrong to do something like that. Little did we know that they were planning to do something with that video.

When Babes Wodumo was dancing on that day she was honoring her husband but people turned it into a joke and gossip. People recreated the video on Tick Tock. There is a video that was shared on social media on that video there is someone dressed like Babes Wodumo holding a doll and pretending to be holding a sponge Bob her son, dancing like how Babes Wodumo was dancing on the day of the memorial service. Dancing to the Ngeke song of Big Nuz that won the song of the year on Khozi Fm.

One thing about people on social media when it comes to such things as imitating people they are very good. They know how to turn a serious thing into a joke. It has been a sad week but it’s good to laugh yes it’s not easy to accept that Mampintsha is gone but we need to move on.
