Mandela Maphumulo professionally known as Mamphintsha was a South African Kwaito artist and recorded label owner, who was born on the 18th of July 1982. Mamphintsa was a part of the kwaito-house trio known as Big Nuz and for over 14 years they made and released music together, with some of their most popular songs being “Umlilo” which was a very popular song back in 2009, the most recent song they made was titled “Ngeke”.
Family members, Supporters and industry colleagues paid tribute toba well known South African musician Mampintsha at a memorial service on Thursday, 29th December 2022.
Family members and colleagues were granted time to share their memory lane with Mampintsha and Dr Tira was one of the people whom also addressed the gathered mass.
At first, Tensions were visibly high in the front row at the memorial service of award-winning musician Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo as his mother sat a few seats away from his widow and artist Bongekile ‘Babes Wodumo’ Simelane.
But memorial service managed to go ahead beside all obstacles. Mampintsha’s memorial service took place today, 29th of December 2022 afternoon. Many Family members, Colleagues and supporters of Mampintsha were gathered to honour Mampintsha.
Mampintsha’s widow Babes Wodumo appears in good spirits as she sings and dances along to a Big Nuz song. She was seen happy during the memorial service but could be her way of dealing with stress.
