Mandla Maphumalo, better realized by his stage name Mampintsha, an individual from Large Nuz, has died.

On Saturday morning, the artist and lyricist died startlingly.

Babes Wodumo’s fans rejoice over Mampintsha’s death

South Africa is saddened by the death of a Kwaito musician, Mandla Maphumulo popularly known as Mampintsha. Mampintsha was taken to hospital few days back following stroke complications. His wife went to Facebook asking prayers from friends, fans, and family, but unfortunately, he lost the battle. When God decides to take you home, not even prayers can rescue you from death. 

Mampintsha got married to Babes Wodumo, a qgom musician, in a traditional wedding in 2020. The marriage is blessed by a son who is popularly known as Sponge.

CONFIRMED|Babes Wodumo has lost her husband, Mampintsha

Death has hit again in the entertainment industry leaving another female media personality as a widow. 

Babes Wodumo with the real name Bongekile Simelani is a South African media personality known for being a musician, actress, host and dancer. Simelani became famous when she released her song titled Wololo that became everyone’s favourite in 2016. Besides being a singer, she has also been an actress for a short time in Mzansi shows such as My Perfect family and Uzalo. 

She has given Mzansi other songs such as Thula Wazi, Nkabinde, Umngan wami, Amaketanga and many more. Bongekile was married to Mandla Maphumulo who was known as Mampintsha. Unfortunately, Simelane lost her husband today.


 

 

 

 

Dogg Durban, Mampintsha’s previous Manager confirmed his passing and said “Yes, Mampintsha is no more”.

The news of his passing were also confirmed by West Ink Records Manager, Sbu Ncube.

A source previously revealed that he was moved to Durdoc Hospital due to the severity of his health. That came after he was admitted to King Edward hospital due to having suffered from a stroke.

It is so sad that another musician has passed on especially when it is towards Christmas, life is indeed unfair. Bongekile and her husband’s marriage had a lot of ups and downs including the problems tnat she had with her mother in law but she does not deserve to loose him.

However, Simelane should be grateful for all the times that she was able to spend with him and be strong for their only son as he is going to need him more with his father no longer being alive. Condolences to her, family, friends and collegues of Mampintsha. May he rest in peace.
