DJ Tira have shared some words of encourage to Babes Wodumo and her son Sponge during the memorial service of late award-winning artist and member of Big Nuz. The South African DJ and singer DJ Tira were one of few celebrities who attended the memorial service of Mampintsha. In the video which is currently circulating on social media, Dj Tira have told the Gqom queen and singer Babes Wodumo that she needs to claim her throne back.
Dj Tira have revealed that when Babes Wodumo first entered the music industry, she was charging R100k per gig. Dj Tira believes that Babes Wodumo can still bounce back with working hard. Dj Tira has promised Babes Wodumo that he will always be there to assist her together with her son Sponge. Babes Wodumo was married to Mampintsha. The couple was popular, known from their reality television show Uthando Lodumo. While Dj Tira was delivering his speech in the hall, Mampintsha’s mother, Zama disrupted his speech as she entered to the venue to be part of the memorial service for her son.
It’s sad and heartbreaking that her relationship with her mother-in-law Zamanguni Gumede had been broken. In the past few days, we have witnessed two families fighting over Mampintsha’s corpse. Two women were seen holding Mampintsha’s mother as they helped her to seat in a front raw. The Simelane and Gumede did not seat together, each family were seating on their own side.
