Kelly Khumalo And Sister, Zandie Kiss And Make Up.

South African songstresses, Kelly Khumalo and her sister Zandie Gumede have finally squashed their beef.

The two sisters’ relationship went south for over two years now and they are happy to be finally back together.

Their split was highly publicized after Kelly released a statement distancing herself from a scam Zandie’s husband Mhlo Gumede was allegedly involved in.

Zandie hit back at the allegations and announced a “divorce” from her sister, in a lengthy Instagram post.

Kelly first hinted at being ready to work things out with her sister when she sat down for her first therapy session on her show in July.

“I’ve reached a point where I’m sick of getting angry. It no longer serves me, and I believe we should find a peaceful resolution to our differences. The main problem, she said to her therapist, was that she thought her mother wasn’t doing enough.

Kelly disclosed that she and her sister had patched up their differences and are once more a part of each other’s life.

Kelly revealed that she and her sister were no longer at war when she appeared as a guest on Kaya 959 in late September and spoke with Sol Phenduka and Dineo Ranaka.

“We’re OK. Actually, we are pretty good. We probably needed that brief respite. I feel like we needed it because, as you may know, losing one’s sense of self-identity when one gets too close to another may be perilous. I had to find myself outside of her, and she had to find herself outside of me.

I was unsure of how to respond. I believe the aspect of the situation including treatment was what gave me anxiety. Whatever happens, by the time we left the room, we had to have figured everything out. She remarked, describing her motivations for entering counseling, “It’s been a tremendous weight to carry all these time.

They even attended recent family events together, such as the christening of Zandie’s kid Zenala and their mother’s unexpected birthday celebration.
