Actor Cornet Mamabolo on playing a serial killer

Everybody loves to loathe the trouble maker in any film or television creation, and entertainer Cornet Mamabolo (32) did precisely that. Cornet portrayed Lerumo, a serial killer whose heart was broken by a woman he loved, until recently, when his role on 1Magic’s The River was cut. Now, he takes his rage out on all young women.

 Thinking BACK

Since the person has been killed off and the job is finished, he glances back at the feelings and time put resources into rejuvenating the job. ” He explains, “As an actor, most of the time, before you get your big break into the industry, you want a show or a role that can get you out there. But once you get the hang of it, you start to really want to act.” You want to play and explore like a child. To bring the child in you back to life, you pray for characters and stories. Cornet claims that he had always wanted to play a serial killer. Lerumo was that job I realized I needed to experience passionate feelings for the crowd to truly despise,” he says. ” It’s one of those roles where, if the audience truly adores you for it, it simply indicates that your acting is lacking. An exciting role for an actor, but unpleasant for the audience. He recalls the emotions and pressure of the final scene in which Lerumo is killed. That was a one-take scene. I was under such a lot of pressure when I shot that scene. I was under the impression that you are only as good as your last show or performance. As a result, I thought, “I’m taking a break from this show, and this is the scene where I will be leaving.” I had a hard time expressing my feelings.

Closing the Chapter After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dramatic Arts from the University of Witwatersrand, Cornet began performing in 2005 while still in high school at a community theatre in Ivory Park, Tembisa. Two years later, he moved to a mainstream theater. He is delighted to have been given the opportunity to fulfill his childhood ambitions through this role. I’m glad I was able to play with him and experience childhood again. He says, “I feel so blessed to have been trusted with such an amazing and dark story.” The actor, who was born in Limpopo, made the official announcement a year ago that he would be taking a break from acting to concentrate on his business endeavors.
