In the latest episode of #Uthandonesthembu, Musa Mseleku was explaining how he got separated from his stepson Lungelo. Musa and Lungelo got separated immediately after his wife’s (MaSaule) funeral. This come after Makhumalo was giving him feedback on her meeting with Lungelo. Lungelo gave Makhumalo a message to tell Musa that he is still waiting for his call since he promised. Lungelo has been stressed because there are things that were left hanging.
According to Musa, there was no time for him to reach out to Lungelo. His family rejected him when Lungelo’s mother passed away. Musa was told to fetch his belongings in Margate. He was forced to fetch his clothes before he could even bury Sindy. He wasn’t renting the house, it was a house he bought for Sindy. When Sindy passed away, Musa forgot all about that. There are a lot of questions when you lose a wife, especially when you’re in a polygamous union. You carry a heavy load and people are not sure if you had a hand in her death or not. As a traditional man, he had to respect what her family said.
Musa promised to call him as he has asked and honour his request. Another things he has to tell him is that his mother could not come and live in Mzumbe because of polygamous union wasn’t solid yet. It was revealed during the episode that Lungelo never knew any father besides Musa Mseleku. Musa said that he will explain to him why his mother Sindy MaSaule and his father broke up. Lungelo was conceived out of love, but his father broke the promise and Musa came to it.
