Tuesday morning, DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ wife was adamant with the police because she sensed something was seriously wrong because he had abruptly left the house and discontinued all communication.
According to law enforcement sources, Allison Holker emphasized how unusual tWitch’s absence was when she went into an LAPD station on Tuesday to report Stephen missing. She informed the police that there was no argument or other problem; he simply left their home. He also refused to return her calls.
According to our law enforcement sources, they afterwards followed Allison back to the family’s house and quickly searched the area for any video or hints as to where he had gone.
Allison reportedly pressed police to consider putting tWitch as a “serious missing persons” investigation because of his peculiar conduct.
However, as TMZ first reported, shortly after Allison made contact with the police, a 911 call came in… stating that tWitch’s body had been found at a motel less than a mile from his home. The DJ and TV host committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
According to hotel employees we spoke with, Stephen checked in on Monday morning with a little luggage and a one-night reservation. Stephen’s body was found on Tuesday after he didn’t check out by the deadline, according to the staff members who claimed he didn’t appear obviously distressed.
Celebrity and fan tributes to tWitch are coming in from people like Ellen DeGeneres, who referred to him as “pure love and light,” and Justin Timberlake, who knew him for more than 20 years.
We send our deepest condolences to his wife and family, it is never easy to loose someone you love this way.
