Shepherd Bushiri is a Malawian born South African based preacher, businessman, motivational speaker and author. He is the founder of Enlightened Christian Gathering ECG since 2010 and he is popularity known as Major 1. He was born to Huxley and Christina Bushiri in Lilongwe, Malawi, but grew up in Mzuzu.

He is the fourth child in a family of six children. He is kind and generous person who always cares for other people especially youth from his community. His church has many branches across the world. In addition to his ministry the self proclaimed prophet runs investment company Shepherd Bushiri Investments Pty Ltd based in Johannesburg’s headquarters.

He is a graduate at Therapon University. He married his lovely wife Mary Bushiri in 2011 . He travels around the world holding teaching, prophesy and healing crusades and meetings.
