As his family wanted him to be buried near his childhood friends and relatives, Dj Sumbody was laid to rest in Limpopo on Saturday. He was shot and killed in Johannesburg. There was a large turnout, from celebrities to regular people who knew him in the community, because of his fame. 

One of the community members who attended the funeral did something that left people in shock asking themselves why did this girl do what she did, in public worse part of the funeral. 

 

Someone posted a video of a woman at Dj Sumbody’s funeral acting like she was at a wedding. The worst part is that she was wearing a crop top to the funeral while she was posing and pouting like it was a wedding. In the video, she can be heard saying, “We have arrived at the funeral.” Before this video, there was another video of herself and her saying if you didn’t attend the funeral you are not a slaying 

This demonstrates that we live in a flawed society where individuals make decisions based on the opinions of others. Because to be honest there is no other reason why this lady did what she did except that she wanted to be seen that she attended Dj Sumbody’s funeral. People do embarrassing things to go viral and gain followers because that’s what people do. 

She intended to go viral, and she has, but not in a good way; many are unhappy with her actions and have spoken out against them, saying that it was inappropriate to act in such a way at the funeral of a famous person whose death was so tragic. 

People are saying things like, “This is so embarrassing; social media is ruining people,” because so much of modern life revolves around posting content and gaining followers. They say you shouldn’t just go around doing things like wearing a sleeveless top and a crop top to a funeral without covering your head or showing respect for the deceased. It’s a no-no for people to try to earn respect from others at the expense of their own dignity.
