The storyline of Imbewu: The Seed never disappoints, when you think they have lost the plot they make a comeback of a lifetime. With Maharaj, Fikile and now Zimele resurrecting from the dead, the storyline gets even better and even the show more watchable with anticipation.

Zimele Bengu was shot and killed a long time ago, his family lost their anchor. So much has happened after that, with Mazulu his wife almost getting married to another man, the Bengu family learning that he fathered a child outside marriage (Fikile), Nkululeko and Fikile getting into a relationship, Fikile’s death and comeback, Zithulele becoming CEO of Maluju, Zithulele being in jail for culpable homicide, Nkululeko being removed as CEO by Zakithi, not forgetting that Maharaj is now COO at Maluju. The plot has thickened.

 

 

 

Phew! I could go on and on. The questions are, why is he back? What happened to him? Who else is involved in his disappearance and reappearance? Who did the Bengu’s bury?

Nkululeko had a dream about him, then Mazulu dreamt about him standing at the front door, then Macingwane confirmed that Fikile’s biological father has to do a ritual for her. That could only mean, Zimele Bengu played by Tony Kgoroge has come back to claim his throne as the Maluju CEO. Everyone of the Bengu’s has sat on that CEO chair, now who will become the next CEO?

As for Tony Kgoroge, he is a seasoned actor with years and years of experience, making him one of the best in this industry.
