The funeral service of the late DJ Sumbody is set to get underway this morning.

DJ Sumbody was a popular South African musician who met his fate after he was shot in a hail of bullets.

The shooting incident is reported to have happened in the early hours.

Details pertaining to the or motive are still being investigated by the police.

He was in the company of his body guards when unknown men approached their car and started opening fire.

 

Friends, family and fans are expected to attend the funeral of Oupa “DJ Sumbody” Sefoka at Ga-Masemola in Limpopo.

His death comes at a time when gun violence is on an upward trajectory and South Africa. Many people have lost their lives in recent months due to gun violence in the country.

Many have called upon the government to introduce a strict act pertaining to people that own guns.

Just yesterday, Prince Mbongiseni Zulu was also tragically shot dead in a hail of bullets.
