The Pretoria-born artist was killed in a drive-by shooting in the early hours of Sunday. South African DJ and producer DJ Sumbody was murdered in Johannesburg Sunday morning, November 20th 2022. The news was confirmed in a statement posted on Instagram by his record label, Sumsounds Music.

 

 

This was a shocking news to many people since Dj Sumbody was known to be a cool person not associating himself with conflict.

His family went to the scene in the morning of that Sunday before the police remove his car, they were spotted taking his spirit from the crime scene to his place so that in future his spirit musnt hunt that place and cause accidents. That is a ritual which many Africans practice if one of them passed away on the road.

Sefoka’s funeral service will take place on Saturday, 26 November, at Apel Fourways Cross in Ga-Masemola, Limpopo. It will start at 07:00am.
