DJ Sumbody’s dedication administration: We are as yet stunned!
Family, companions and partners honor Oupa Sefoka, known as DJ Sumbody (inset), during his remembrance administration yesterday.
IT WAS a serious issue when companions and partners of DJ Sumbody assembled to say one last farewell.
The 38-year-old, whose genuine name was Oupa Sefoka, was killed in a hail of slugs in Woodmead, Joburg, in the early long stretches of Sunday 20 November.
Talking at the dedication administration held in Centurion, Tshwane, Cassper Nyovest shed tears.
“I recollect when we turned out to be close. We were at Ayepyep in 2016 when he called me aside and told me ‘you realize that young lady you’re dating is playing you and I’m letting you know this since you are my sibling and I can see you love her to such an extent’.
“That was the point at which I understood Sumbody was not terrified of letting you know things as they are. I’ll perpetually miss you, my sibling, and I love you.”
Sumbody’s long-term companion DJ Vettys and his colleague Kagiso Setsetse said they didn’t have the foggiest idea how they would go on without him.
Vettys said: “He made me who I’m today and I will be for all time appreciative and grateful to him.”
Kagiso said he would miss Sumbody until the end of his life.
“Oupa was an extremely certain man. He accepted all that emerged from his mouth and transformed it into a reality,” he said.
Talking for the benefit of the family, Sumbody’s uncle Public Sefoka said he was a modest and conscious individual. “He dealt with his loved ones. He was a cheerful individual and he was cherished by others,” he said.

“We are as yet stunned and we don’t have any idea how we will live without him. It’s sad. This will be our most memorable Christmas without him.”
DJ Sumbody abandons his accomplice Tlotlo, his mum and his kin, Koketso and Tsibu Sefoka.
He will be covered on Saturday, 26 November in his old neighborhood of Ga-Masemola in Limpopo.
