The gift that Connie received was an extraordinary portrait which serves as a tribute to her late husband Shona Ferguson. The artistic portrait which she shared on Instagram evokes some sense of love and sweet memories of the late Shona.

The actor and businesswoman expressed her gratitude towards Netflix and John Adams who made the existence of the portrait a reality. “I really have no words, thank you for honouring king Shona in such a special meaningful way.” Connie said.

She indicated that the tribute painting captures the essence and strong presence of Shona at Netflix summer celebration. “John Adams, you are super talented. Thank you for this beautiful painting of the most amazing human I’ve ever known. It truly is special, and the best gift to me and my family.” Ferguson added.

Connie lost her husband when he passed on last year in July due to some Covid related complications. His death became a lose for his family, the media industry and the entire South Africa and he used to entertain them.

Shona and Connie’s relationship was a dream life for many people who followed their lifestyle. They were always seen to be at each other’s side in all times since they also ran their businesses together.
