South Africa was forced into another season of mourning after the untimely passing of Oupa John Sefoka , known by many as ‘DJ Sumbody ‘. The news of his passing has spread all over the internet , with many people expressing devastation and shock at the death that was unexpected .

 

 

 

 

WHAT HE WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO ON SUNDAY

Every individual has his or her expectations on a daily basis . Oupa had things he was looking forward to as far as Sunday was concerned . In accordance with a confirmed report , the DJ was looking forward to his all-white party that had been set to take place on Sunday . Some hours before his death , he used his Instagram account to post what he was looking forward to.

” HAPPY SATURDAY , 1 DAY TO GO .” This was what he shared on his Instagram as shown above . The countdown to the event was an indication that he was looking forward to the ‘ All-White ‘ party . Little did he know that the plans that had been placed would not become a reality .

The Amapiano pioneer’s family confirmed in a media statement that the DJ who was supposed to perform at the All-White Veuve Clicquot Picnic had died hours before he could set his foot at the venue .The Sunday World reportedly announced that the DJ was travelling when unknown men fired at his vehicle killing him and one of his body guards on the spot .

The second bodyguard was reportedly taken to hospital for treatment following the multiple gunshot wounds that he sustained . This death is another lesson on how life can be unpredictable . DJ Sumbody had been counting down to the All-White party , but death was also counting down on taking away his soul . May his soul rest in peace .
