#RipPearl Trends After Mzansi Loses A Talented Person In The Entertainment Industry

This year has been extremely sad, especially because death has visited a lot of young people who still had so much life ahead of them, dreams and goals that were meant to be achieved, but unfortunately, they have lost their lives at such young ages, and their elderly have resorted to being the ones who bury them when it should be the other way around. And the sad thing about death is that it does not discriminate based on age, but it is unfortunate that so many young people, some of whom have been working on creating good names for themselves in society and have already achieved so much of their dreams, will succumb to it.

Many of these losses have been seen in the entertainment industry, and “rest in peace” messages have become quite frequent. At the end of the day, it is no secret that death is one of the most disheartening things that humanity and every living thing will eventually give, but when it arrives, it leaves a lot of pain, sadness, and questions. It is something that does not let people know when it is arriving, which is something that people still cannot get used to.

South Africans were shocked to learn that Pearl Shongwe, a young TV and radio presenter who many will recognise from Metro FM as the news presenter and others will recognise from the SABC 1 show Daily Thetha, had died.Pearl Shongwe has lost her life at the age of 35. The cause of her death has not been released, but it is believed that she might have passed on in her sleep, as she was found in her apartment, in her bed, and no signs reveal that she might have been harmed.

#RipPearlShongwe has been trending on social media, with people sending messages of condolences to Pearl. May her soul rest in beautiful peace.
