Bathabile Dlamini, a former president of the ANC Women’s League, has spoken out about the crowning of King Misuzulu KaZwelithini at Moses Mabhida stadium on Saturday.
Dlamini argued that the show of solidarity at Saturday’s historic rally proved that national progress is possible when people work together. They highly recommend this, according to her.
Bathabile Dlamini argued that the event’s diverse attendance demonstrates the importance of unity despite the booing of President Cyril Ramaphosa and the cheering of the crowd whenever the visage of former President Jacob Zuma was shown on the screen.
“The solidarity on display yesterday at Moses Mabhida Stadium is a testament to the legacy Isilo Samabandla has left for us, and for that we are grateful. When we’re together, we’re unstoppable. It wasn’t magic to have the people and new leaders. A Zulu woman of South Africa’s pride and dignity, “Dlamini said.
Others, however, claim that she should be discussing this issue within the ANC NEC, which appears to be divided and for whom “unity” is no longer a part of their lexicon, making it difficult to even provide services to the public.
“I hope that this declaration will be widely disseminated among the NEC and the ANC. Although disagreements are inevitable, compromising on the shared goal of serving the public must never be considered “remarked a critic of society.
Others have cautioned that the ANC should not introduce its internal strife to the Zulu royal family. Some in the African National Congress (ANC) allegedly planned to utilize King Misuzulu KaZwelithini’s coronation as a political rallying point.
Bantu Holomisa, head of the United Democratic Movement, expressed his hope that the Zulu kingdom would be at peace and that the king would reign without conflict.
“We pray that God richly blesses the Zulu people. To unite and govern this magnificent nation, Mageba, the Zulu forefathers must come via your offspring “His words.
