Social media has been used as a public diary by numerous people across the world. Some posts will leave you in disbelief as you wouldn’t believe that there’s individuals that are capable of letting the public know about their deep and dark secrets. This was visible when a singer decided to spill the beans on a social media post that could lead to her being put behind bars. As she went on a rant about how she killed an elderly man in a car accident. What made it even worse is that she decided to complain about his family to thousands of people online.
According to reports, the singer in question is Julia Reis who stated that when she was driving on a particular road in Itabirito, Brazil she firstly swerved from a toddler. As she almost killed the toddler, but she did try to make sure that doesn’t happen. Only to cause a horrible accident a few minutes later as she crashed into a 86-year-old Agostinho Ascenção da Silva and the wall. Due to severe injuries that Da Silva sustained in the crash then that led to his unfortunate death after he was taken to the nearby hospital then got his legs amputated. After all the medical help that he got at the hospital, he sadly lost his life after five days.
Meanwhile, Reis only had minor injuries and she’s expected to face the law for the death that she allegedly caused on the road. The bystanders did try to help within the accident in terms of making sure that they get them out of the severity of the crash so that the first respondents would arrive and try to recitate them and take the injured to the hospital. “It so happens that even though I was advised by the doctor to take care of myself, I published on my social media, hours after the accident, an official statement offering my condolences to the elderly man’s family and making myself available to provide any necessary assistance. However, as will be proven later, Mr Agostinho’s family refuses to respond to my attempts to contact them via WhatsApp,” wrote Reis on her social media platform.
