Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela has revealed that Sindi Dlathu has bagged an international acting role on King Shaka. Produced by Showtime, the series will unravel the unlikely rise of power of King Shaka who was the leader of the Zulu Kingdom in the early 19th century. He will be faced with ferocious battles that will test his strength and leadership skills.
What to expect from the series
It’s shot by CBS Studios in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal were Shaka was born and breed. It will debut in 2023 and will feature a steller cast including Kgoroge who is popularly known from Imbewu: The Seed, Sindi Dlathu from the River and Hadebe just to name a few. What’s mind boggling is that Showmax has produced a similar series titled Shaka ILembe that will also premier in 2023 – the competition is rife.
