Drama between a baby mama and girlfriend is usually best avoided, but when Nkosi (Wanda Zuma) learned his girlfriend Shoki (Shalate Sekhabi) and his baby mama Mampho (Gaisang Keaikitse Noge) both entered to be the face of his father’s fashion company, House of Zwide, he realised he’s about to be in the middle of a very ugly rivalry.

Both Mampho and Shoki make the shortlist, and each one really wants to win.

Becoming the face of House Of Zwide is important to Shoki since she feels it could change her life.

For the first time, she has something that’s hers to fight for. It would be a personal win for her, but she knows Mampho wants it just as badly.

 

PLAYING DIRTY

Of course Nkosi faces the inevitable accusations of favouritism. Nkosi had no idea both his girlfriend and baby mama were vying for the same job.

But now both of them, and his sister Zanele (Londeka Mchunu), accuse him of nepotism. He tries to explain to Shoki he had no hand in Mampho entering, and doesn’t appreciate both doing so without consulting him first.

Mampho chooses a rather dubious way to get ahead, says Gaisang. She starts off by appearing to apologise to Shoki about always using Nkosi and the fact they have a child to make her jealous, but she sneakily knocks Shoki’s confidence.

Mampho pretends to be worried about Nkosi because he’s still processing his mother’s death, and having to watch the murderer, Faith (Winnie Ntshaba) go unpunished.

She basically advises Shoki to drop out of the competition and support Nkosi.

A WINNING FACE

When they go through a final photoshoot to determine the winner, it doesn’t look good for Shoki.
