Award-winning actor Warren Masemola joins the HOZ cast on 19 September as Alex Khadzi, who is Funani’s biggest adversary, as we will soon find out. Warren will be playing opposite the legendary Vusi Kunene for the first time on television.
So who is this new player in the HOZ games? To put it simply, Alex Khadzi is a design genius. Much like his character, his creations are colourful, provocative, and eye-catching. In our world, Alex is part of that new crop of young, bold designers who are starting to make a name for themselves internationally.
Alex is a highflyer, and his biggest achievements include featuring in Forbes’ “30 under 30” as well as winning the coveted LVMH Prize for young designers. But don’t let the charm and bright outfits fool you, Alex has a heart of darkness.
This reflects his personality too because he’s going to provoke Funani with his heart of darkness.He has a deep hatred for Funani and wants to wipe out HoZ, but first he wants to bring Funani to his knees.
