A few days after Senzo Meyiwa’s death, Tumelo Madlala told the court that Sello Chicco Twala had offered Kelly Khumalo a trip (vacation) abroad. Tumelo Madlala, a state witness in the murder prosecution of Senzo Meyiwa, has discovered that track producer Sello “Chicco” Twala sent Kelly Khumalo, the late goalkeeper’ ex-girlfriend and vocalist, on a trip abroad shortly after his death

At his court appearance on September 14th, Madlala addressed this to the North Gauteng High Court. As Madlala told the court, he really can’t recall which day Chicco Twala dropped by to talk to Kelly. He told the judge, “I heard him asking whether she truly doesn’t need to head on a get-away excursions.”

Chicco Twala told Newzroom Afrika in May of this year that he is tortured by the fact that people are smearing his reputation despite the fact that he was not present at the time Senzo Meyiwa was murdered. As for the other eight persons, one of whom was the composer’s child, the hitmaker claimed he was “not actually present.” After the heinous act, Kelly Khumalo called him.
