Jabulani Hadebe, the son of Thandi Nkabinde, was born in Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal. The Hlubi ethnic group can be traced back to his ancestors. The Sjava family is completed by Sjava’s older brother, Sibusiso, and his older sister, Sindy (his sister).
Rapper and hip-hop artist Jabulani Hadebe, better known as Sjava, hails from South Africa. In 2005, he made his acting debut in a supporting role in uGugu no Andile (2009).
On television for the next three years, his star soared to recognition as a result of his starring role in Zone 14. With Ambitiouz Entertainment, Sjava has secured his first-ever recording contract.
Amani” was the single that catapulted him into the limelight in 2015. When Sjava published their first album in 2010 named Isina Muva, it was an eclectic mix of afrobeat, hip-hop, and contemporary R&B. His second studio album, Umqhele, which was released in 2018, received high accolades from critics.
Through the use of a hybrid style, Umqhele has expanded his image to include African elements and reinforced it around the world. Umphako, Sjava’s first EP, was released in 2018.
