How to Run Christmas star Busisiwe Lurai has died. Her family confirmed the sad news in a statement today.

According to the statement, the actress suddenly passed on in her home yesterday.

“We are deeply saddened to notify you of the passing of Busisiwe Lurayi. Busisiwe passed on suddenly and was pronounced dead at her residence in Sunday 10.07.2022 by medical personnel,” the statement read.

The family also revealed the the cause of her death is still unknown and they are still waiting for the autopsy report results.

“We humbly request that you allow us as family space to come to terms with this tragic news. We thank you for the support that has been given so far and we will provide further information as soon as it has been made available,” the family said concluding the statement.

Busisiwe was popularly known for her role on City Sesla and How to Ruin Christmas.

Death has again robbed the South African acting industry another well known actress and a talented one who played a vital role in the industry. Death is something that cannot be really wished on someone else as it always leave people heartbroken.
