I Teach At A School Where 90% Of The Children Are Foreign But I’m Too Conflicted To Dudula Them.

The immigration crisis of South Africa has reached peak. The people of South Africa want the foreign nationals sent back to their country. They have formed movements such as Operation Dudula to get to the bottom of the crisis.

Foreign nationals are accused of taking jobs and taking over the local businesses. However, the immigration crisis is not only in evident in employment and business but also in schools. One teacher shared how he teaches at one school that has 90% of foreign nationals or mixed and yet he cannot dudula them, because he has fallen in love with them.

A Twitter account by the name of Makhaya Makhaya shared on Twitter why he cannot dudula foreign national kids. He said ” And I teach in a school where 90% of the children are either foreign or have mixed parentage. Sadly I have fallen in love with them. I am aware of the long term negative effects but too conflicted to Dudula them…DILEMMA!!!”.

While the immigration crisis affects South Africans negatively, we also have to consider how it also affects the children. Imagine growing up in a country where you are not wanted. It is not their fault but their parents fault and perhaps they should be forgiven so that their children can atleast finish school.
