Leading SA female performer, Ndivhudzannyi ‘Makhadzi’ Ralivhona had her fans worried on Saturday when she accidentally bumped her head against a speaker during the perfomance of her hit song, Ghanama.

The incident happened this past Saturday while Makhadzi was enterteining cowds in a gig Swaziland.

In a clip that was circulated throughout Sunday, Makhadzi could be seen performing before throwing herself to the ground, where she bumped her head against the speaker. One of her dancers rushed to her aid and helped her up.

On Sunday Makhadzi took to facebook to comfirm what was already seen on the clip. She said in her post:

“I unfortunately had to cancel all my shows for the day as I need to rest my head as per the doctor’s advice. I will see you soon. By tomorrow I should be able to resume work.”

According to Nkateko Maluleke, Open Mic managing director, Makhadzi did not realise there was limited space behind her.

“As she was dancing she threw herself to the floor as part of her perfomance and that was when she bumped her head.

By Sunday Makhadzi was reportedly doing fine but that did not stop her fans from wishing her a speedy recovery throughout Sunday.

The Limpopo born artist has been making waves in the South African music industry releasing hit after hit in recent years, making her one of the biggest names in the industry. Her hit songs include AmaYellowbone, Ghanama, Dibuya Limpopo and many more. Together with Master KG the two are shining a huge spotlight on the province’s music industry inspiring many young people in the process.

We wish her all the best in her music career, but she needs to really reconsider her dance moves because it could have been worse. We all need our Khadzi well and kicking.
