Guess Who Showed Up At Thabo Mbeki’s 80th Birthday?

Former president Thabo Mbeki and Kgalema Motlanthe were seated close to Zulu King Misuzulu KaZwelithini at the party.

Some of Misuzulu KaZwelithini’s supporters were not happy to see him at Thabo Mbeki’s birthday celebrations; they believe his late father, King Goodwill Zwelithini, must be turning in his grave because Mbeki is accused of insulting him.

King Misuzulu KaZwelithini, who was recognized by President Cyril Ramaphosa, has been accused of being a stooge for the African National Congress (ANC).

“The King should have turned down the offer of a feast. He’s on his way to Stellenbosch, where he can enjoy the scenery and wine. Basically, you can’t get something for nothing.

Soon, a King will be enjoying the best wine produced in Stellenbosch. Because of the Zulu people’s fierce warrior mentality, the enemy will be unable to completely conquer the Zulu Kingdom “A social critic claimed that Zulu King’s appearance at Thabo Mbeki’s birthday bash in Sandton was inappropriate.

One of the ANC strong hitters that attended Thabo Mbeki’s birthday celebrations was Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, the minister of cooperative governance and traditional affairs.

Dlamini-Zuma was also seated near Zanele Mbeki, the wife of Thabo Mbeki, when he was president.

Thabo Mbeki’s birthday celebrations also included the mayor of Johannesburg, Mpo Phalatse.

Thabo Mbeki and Jacob Zuma, both former presidents of South Africa, both turned 80 this year. Although they have significant flaws, their significance to the ANC is widely acknowledged.

But Zuma’s backers aren’t happy that his 80th birthday wasn’t feted like Thabo Mbeki’s was.
