At this point, it is quite clear that LaConco has no intention to open up about herself more than she has to, and this is a problem because her “so called” friends feel like they are spending time with someone they do not even know.

The latest episode of The Real Housewives of Durban brought nothing, but drama as always and LaConco was not having it always.

Now, there was a get together, the ladies were basically opening up about things would not usually open up about and that was what the episode was mostly about.

 

 

 

 

 

But, the mood changed when they expected LaConco to tell them about someone she did not want to talk about. It turns out that there is a guy called Patel, who is probably someone that LaConco is romantically involved with.

But, the ladies did not get a confirmation from LaConco, Annie asked about the guy after LaConco had mentioned that she was not interested in entertaining that discussion.

Other ladies saw the opportunity and they also chipped in some questions, they wanted to know if Patel was just a friend because to them it seems like he is more than a friend.

And LaConco could not take it, as Nonku was asking a question, she lashed out because there were follow up questions.

She set the record straight right there and then and said she is no longer going to talk about that, one could tell that everyone was disappointed, but there was nothing they could do. Things were awkward for a good 10 seconds and LaConco just became busy on her phone, she completely excluded herself from the chat.

And maybe this is something that could have been easily avoided if the other ladies chose to respect LaConco’s decision to keep some things to herself, especially her love life.

The viewers might feel deprived a bit because if one is on a reality show, they are expected to reveal a lot about themselves, which is understandable because of the expectations, but LaConco does not owe the ladies anything.

And she probably would rather deal with the backlash on social media, then to say things she would likely regret later on, that is usually what happens if things go south, those who were entertained by what you revealed will not be there to save you.
