Sindiswa Dlathu is a South African presenter and musician. She is best known for playing Thandaza Mokoena in Muvhango, a role she played from the show’s inception in 1997 until the woman departure in 2018.

Sindi left Muvhango to star in the TV series The River where the lady plays Lindiwe Dlamini-Dikana, a really strong and powerful woman who will whatever it takes to protect her wealth, marital life, family and maintain her luxury Life-style at all costs.

Sindi Dlathu is a best actress, she won the Favorite Actress award at the 2020 DStv Mzansi Audience Choice Awards. Inside 2021, she won the SAFTA Finest Actress Award for her role as Lindiwe in The River.

Singer Bulelwa Mkutukana known to the music world as Zahara spent at least 3 hours on Radio 2000 with David Mashabela on his show, The Royal Playground.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Zahara who like any human being, she is currently in a financial situation where she said said that she would be losing her house after Nedbank served her with a notice of auction her house on the 8th of July. The show started on a good mood with David Mashabela asking her about music life and all. She was in studio to enjoy a musical challenge with Mashabela of selecting songs that would go against each others choice of songs.

It all started when she was talking about her departure from her former record label TS Records which belongs to Dj Sbu and Thembinkosi Nciza. Zahara said that since she started her battles with TS Records, she saw a decline in her music being played on radio stations across the country as well as television music channels. She even said her bookings also declined in fact she was no longer being booked.

David Mashabela then asked her if there was no shame from her by asking for help from the public? Zahara responded by saying “she said the only shame felt was that she worked hard and the only shame she had, was for her parents and not for herself”. It was at this very moment that she couldn’t hold back her tears and she started crying, which prompted David Mashabela to go to an ad break in order to give her time to gather herself.

Credit to her as she managed to proceed with the interview, she even became joyful and started dancing in studio when David played a Brenda Fassie song called “Ag Shame Lovey” which saw Zahara standing up and singing loudly as was seen on the stations YouTube live where it was being streamed to the listener’s. The show ended with Zahara giving out her FNB account number as asked her fans for donations for any amount they can afford to help with.

Education is the ultimate key to success. even though there are individuals who have qualifications but are struggling to get jobs. This should not deter anyone from pursuing their dream career. With that being said, a lady left everyone speechless after posting her picture on her graduation day.

The legendary singer, Khuzani Mpungose, says it is as if he left a blessing for gospel singer Deborah Fraser, who passed away on Sunday after a long illness. Khuzani had just performed a song with the celebrity who was expected to come out on his album this year. According to Khuzani, when he was asked to perform a song with Deborah, he felt very blessed. “Deborah’s music made me grow and always blessed me. Receiving an invitation to do a song with her, was not something I took lightly.

 

“Deborah has been a legend not only in South Africa but also in other countries.” Khuzani says the news of her passing did not go down well with him, especially as he could not even get a chance to sing their song together in front of people. “I was really looking forward to the release of this song and I was really looking forward to being together on stage as when we recorded it, it was great as if we were old friends,” he said. He says he takes it as a blessing to have the opportunity to do a song with Deborah at the last minute of her life.

“This song is like a blessing to me that when she came to record her last album, she thought of putting me in it,” he said. Khuzani described Deborah as a relaxed, loving and warm mother. For this yet unreleased album, Deborah has a song she did with Big Zulu, who also cries out for the same thing. Big Zulu told ILANGA that he was sensitive to the passing of the industry, and said he was humbled to have the opportunity to work with her. “It has never been better for a person to pass away and I was still looking forward to being with her on stage, letting people know our work together.

“To the family and to all those close to Mam Deborah, I say no to racism,” said Big Zulu. He described the recording with Deborah as something that will always be in his heart.

Universal Music CEO Deborah Tlale, a company owned by Deborah, confirmed that everything was ready for the release of the album, which was expected to be released in the middle of the year. “We have compiled the songs, we are waiting to see which one we will line up and the exact date we will release it,” said Tlale.

He also confirmed the performance of Deborah and Khuzani and Big Zulu on the album. Deborah was one of those gospel singers who could sing with a variety of musicians. He has sung with David Masondo of Soul Brothers fame, Brenda Fassie, Sipho Mbhele and others. A memorial service is expected to be held on Thursday at The House of Treasure Ministries, Rispark, Johannesburg. At the time of writing the details of the Durban memorial are expected to be finalized tomorrow, Friday. Deborah’s funeral service will be at The Station near Durban Station, before she is laid to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery,
