Solomon Shandu To Be Laid To Rest

JOHANNESBURG – Municipal specialist Solomon Shandu, who lost his life in the tempests in KwaZulu-Natal last end of the week, will be let go one weekend from now.

Shandu and his partner Simphiwe Cele, who both worked for the eThekwini Municipality, disappeared last Saturday night when their vehicle was cleared away as they were attempting to cross the Mdloti River in Ndwedwe, north of Durban.

A five-day look for the men finished in misfortune on Thursday when their bodies were recuperated a distance away.

Shandu is being recognized as a caring family man. Nonfundo Shandu and her three sisters were their dad’s absolute favorite.

“He generally preferred to say: I’m the dad of four girls. I’m excessively monstrous yet I have such gorgeous girls.”

Her sister, Ntombifuthi, said he had huge designs for his retirement.

“He needed to fabricate some large home for us, that was his arrangement.”

The family has been left broken and having now lost the sole provider, they don’t have the foggiest idea how they will go on.

“It will be hard, no other person works.”

He will be let go next Saturday at his family estate in Intaphuka, not a long way from where he disappeared.
