It was an honour for me to know you. Your presence on stage was amazing. Rest in peace Mom “

What a very sad week for South Africans especially the people who loved the late gospel singer, Deborah Fraser. When the deceased first started her music journey most of us were still young. Some of us grew up listening to her angelic voice on some of her songs she had released. Her voice also consoled us when we were going through the most in life.

She passed away at the age 56-year-old. The gospel singer Dr Deborah Fraser died in the presence of her family and friends on 15 may 2022 following a short illness. A month ago she posted a video on Tik Tok. After the video was posted, the singer stated: “I am not acting, I can’t walk”. The 56-year-old told Daily Sun at the time that she was bound to a wheelchair and couldn’t walk. She was suffering from diabetes. Few days after the video was posted Fraser assured her fans at the time that she was doing way better. No one was anticipating her death, but the sad news is that she is no more.

Diabetes claimed so many people’s lives. Today Deborah Fraser is no more due to this illness. The underlying cause of diabetes varies by type. But, no matter what type of diabetes you have, it can lead to excess sugar in your blood. Too much sugar in your blood can lead to serious health problems. If you notice any possible diabetes symptoms, contact your doctor. The earlier the condition is diagnosed, the sooner treatment can begin. After you receive your diagnosis, you’ll need close medical follow-up until your blood sugar levels stabilize.

Type 2 diabetes is a serious condition that can lead to life-threatening complications. However, by adopting effective management strategies, there is a good chance that many people with type 2 diabetes can expect to live as long as a person without the condition.
