RIP Deborah Fraser: Tributes pour in for the legendary gospel singer

Accolades have poured in for incredible gospel artist Deborah Fraser who died on Sunday 15 May following a short disease. The honor winning artist told Daily Sun in April that she couldn’t stroll after a video of her acting in a wheelchair circulated around the web.

The Durban-conceived artist had sold large number of records during her music profession and had delivered north of 10 collections before her passing. She delivered her most recent venture, a five-track EP named The Gospel of Deborah Fraser, in December 2021.

In November 2021, the 57-year-old artist was granted a privileged doctorate by Trinity International Bible University in Ghana.

FAMILY CONFIRMS DEBORAH FRASER’S DEATH

Taking to Facebook on 15 May, Deborah Fraser’s family reported her passing in a short assertion, adding that she died soon after 12:00.

“She passed on today after noontime within the sight of her loved ones,” read the proclamation.

“As Dr Deborah Fraser’s family we might want to be given space to process and manage what is happening. The public will be additionally educated regarding any turns of events.”

Deborah Fraser told Daily Sun last month that she had been debilitated and was hospitalized among February and March.

“Everything started when I began to upchuck wildly and I lost my solidarity. From that point forward, I haven’t had the option to walk,” she said.

“At the point when I attempt to walk, my development coordination doesn’t work well since when I need to go right, I go left.”
