Khanyi Mbau proves how legendary she is as she takes us down memory lane

It’s hard to believe that Khanyi Mbau is only 36 years old. The media personality has done it all, and she still has some more miles to go. Mbau released videos of her days as a Strictly Come Dancing contestant in 2014. Many didn’t even know that she was part of the competition.

The actress was part of season 6 of the show, and she was one of the favorites on the show. That is why there was a bit of controversy when she was voted out.

It’s easy to see why Mbau is the boss that she is. She did not have any background as a professional dancer but watching her on the videos, one couldn’t say that.

She was a consummate professional and put effort into her routines, and she looked like she had been dancing for years.

We all came to know The self-proclaimed Queen of Bling in the early 2000s when she played the character of Doobsie on Muvhango.

Little did we know that a force had just been unleashed. Khanyi is only 36 years old, and she is already a legend.

Strictly Come Dancing came under criticism after her exit from the show as her fans took to the Twitter streets to voice their dissatisfaction with the voting processes used on the show.

One of the executives, Kee-Leen Irvin of the show, tried to explain the process, and then she said she would like to see Khanyisile return to the show’s finale, but Khanyisile didn’t share her views.

“I refuse to be a part of a damage control episode. You know what happened.”

Many of her fans said they stopped watching the show after she and the late Kuli Roberts were kicked out.

Khanyi has given us plenty of entertainment over the years and has now cemented her status as one of the list iconic actresses after her intense scenes with Mondli Mmakhoba on the Showmax hit drama The Wife.

It’s very clear that when she was born in 1985 that a star was born. Mbau is part of the brilliant cast of the popular Netflix reality show Young, Famous and African, and the show broke the internet for weeks after its premiere.
