The truth has been finally revealed about what led to the passing of Gomora’s actor, Siyabonga Zubane who lost his life last weekend.

It has been rumoured that Siyabonga Zubane committed suicide. Unfortunately, it is not true. His family has come out to open up about what really happened to him while rubbished the claims of suicide.

“We don’t really know if it was suicide but there are no signs. We are still waiting for postmortem. He was found in bed nonresponsive”, his unidentified aunt said.

“They phoned us and took him to the hospital this morning. And we are still waiting for reports”, the aunt added.

Zubane passed on last weekend on Saturday and his passing was confirmed by Gomora Mzansi . When confirming, Gomora Mzansi through a statement said, “It is with heavy hearts that we confirm the passing of one of cast members, Siyabonga Zubane who played Sdumo. He passed away in the early hours of this morning”.

Suicide is a very sensitive issue. People need to make sure that they gather facts first before having to circulate that one has committed suicide as this ends up affecting family members. When coming to celebrities, the public must rely on information from the family only and not run with rumours.
