Minenhle Dlamini is a South African on-air personality, actress, and model who was born on July 7, 1990. She was chosen as the new host of SABC 1’s Friday live music show, Live Amp, in 2010. She later worked as a sports presenter for the same channel. She is also known for dating Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, but the relationship didn’t work out and the two split up.
On July 8, 2017, she wedded Quinton Jones in a traditional ceremony in Glenn Hills, before moving on to the white wedding on September 16, with exclusive coverage rights sold to Multichoice for R6 million. In early 2022, it was reported that the couple, who have a son together, Minenhle and Quinton, filed for divorce after four years of marriage.
According to social media reports, Minnie Dlamini had become distant from Quinton Jones following the death of her brother. Quinton found out Minnie was cheating on him shortly after his brother died and filed for divorce. Minnie’s divorce is still pending, and she refuses to sign the divorce papers.
Below are some of the comments from people on Twitter.
@MeiKendd: He’s right though; sometimes you need to do some research on topics you don’t have information on before you comment. Divorce proceedings can still carry on even without the spouse’s signature; it will just take longer.
@Ntombenhle124: South African celebrities, particularly women, love the spotlight and are always on the streets. That’s why most of them don’t last in marriages. They just get married for status & all.
@Bigxhosa: Gents, even if you are married, never stick to your wife only. Have about 2-3 women on your side to disturb you a little bit so that you won’t notice when your wife is cold. Seeing how cold a woman is is a result of being a simp. Women don’t want a good guy; don’t be one.
