Here’s The Owner Of Milpark, The Hospital Where Shona Passed Away

Julius Malema slammed Milpark Private Hospital, where Shona Ferguson died, on his Twitter account after his death, saying the hospital was overrated.

Milpark is one of the most costly private hospitals in South Africa, according to estimates; it is anticipated that a three-day stay there will cost almost R150,000.

Now, based on the amount of people falling away at that hospital, their price tags are no longer justified; it’s not just Shona, but other high-profile individuals, such as Winnie Mandela, have regrettably passed away there.

As you might expect, many people rushed to the comments section after Malema’s post about Milpark to express their opinions on the matter. Some agreed with Malema, while others said it’s not only in Milpark where people are losing their lives, and that he shouldn’t single out Milpark because Shona died there.

Some South Africans inquired about the controversial Milpark Hospital’s owner out of curiosity. To begin with, the hospital is one of NetCare’s numerous facilities.

NetCare is a health-care company founded by Thevendrie Brewer in 1996. It is one of South Africa’s largest employers, with over 19 915 employees.

Check out the current shareholders of the company, which was founded in 2001 and listed on the JSE five years later.

As you can see, the hospital’s operations aren’t limited to South Africa, which is why some of the stockholders are multinational corporations.
