Mbalenhle Mavimbela is a South African actress who currently plays the role of MaHlomu Dladla in Showmax’s popular telenovela The Wife. MaHlomu is a journalist who falls head over heels with a taxi driver Mqhele. The telenovela is an inspiration from Dudu Busani-Dube’s best selling book Hlomu series.

On the current storyline of the series, Hlomu cheated on her husband Mqhele with his brother, and is now pregnant. While she’s adamant that the baby is Mqhele’s, the baby could well be Qhawe’s. Her pregnancy bump is already showing on screen.

Fans are now wondering if the actress is also pregnant in real life, after she shared pictures on social media where they noticed a pregnancy bump. Could it be that the picture is for filming or the dress she’s wearing is the one making her look pregnant. It could also be that Mbalenhle is just gaining weight and glowing. In one of the pictures she posted, she’s with Kwenzo Ngcobo who plays the role of Qhawe in the telenovela, so maybe the pictures are for filming.

Big Brother Mzansi came back for another season after 7 years of waiting, the reality Tv show lauched it’s 3rd season in South Africa on 23rd January 2022, and the housemates were set to compete for the grand prize of R2 million.

 

 

 

 
The 3rd season lasted for 70 days, housemates played their games, survived nominations and evictions and only five housemates made it through to the last day.

The five remaining housemates who survived till the last day were, Tulani ‘Tulz’ Madala (28), Libo Njomba (32), Themba Kagiso Mabasa (30), Gershwin Brandon ‘Gash1’ Mthombeni (28) and MphoWaBadimo Michelle Mavundla (27).

The season finale was aired this past sunday, 3rd April 2022. Three housemates, Tulz, Libo and Themba were evicted during the live show leaving Gash1 and MphoWaBadimo as the last two standing.

The competition was down to the two, and MphoWaBadimo became victorious, she was crowned the winner of Big Brother Mzansi season 3, and became the first female winner of Big Brother Mzansi.

When every Big brother live show ends, they normally show the voting polls, showing how much each housemate got in percentage compared to the rest. The season finale was different, everyone who voted waited for the voting polls at the end of the show and the results were never shown.

It became a topic on social media as too why the voting polls were not shown, until media commentator Phil Mphela shared that there has been a mistake, the voting polls were supposed to be shown after the show, he also shared that the voting polls will be released.

MphoWaBadimo won with 36,45%, beating Gash1’s 29.17%.

Social media was not impressed with this, the fact that the results took more than 24 hours after the show ended to be shown is just not on. People vote day in and day out, they deserve to be shown this on time.

Sthembiso Khoza is a famous actor of Zulu origin. He have made his name playing trigger happy Shaka on The DSTV soapie Queen, Khoza produced by Ferguson. He has also hosted shows such as Mzanzi Ridez and Goal Diggerz. It look like he is now jobless.

SK Khoza was never canceled. Connie Ferguson didnt fire him, multichoice did. SK was loved by a lot of people. He ruined his career with his own behaviour. He did that to himself. No one will be able to help him unless he helps himself. Taking responsibility of his actions is the first step. He played the part of Shaka’ beautiful on the Queen soapie but he got big headed. His fiancée Ayanda Hlongwane have called it quit accusing him emotional abuse.

Someone said, South African youth especially black ones need to take a break from groove and focus on building this country in favor of them, cuz in 20 years time, they’ll be begging for employment from people who came to this country as asylum seekers.
