Confirmed: Royal AM Reveals Next Signing?

DStv Premiership debutants Royal AM have improved the most this season, finishing second after gaining Bloemfontein Celtic’s top-flight PSL status to be a part of South Africa’s top league. Royal AM is arguably the most improved team in the league this season.

Royal AM also qualified for the Nedbank Cup semi-finals, where they will face Mamelodi Sundowns of the DStv Premiership. In the DStv Premiership, Peter Shalulile of Mamelodi Sundowns is the leading goal-scorer, with Royal AM’s Victor Letsoalo in second place as the second-leading scorer.

Royal AM has a fantastic group of quality players, but there is always room for growth as they have a very high chance of qualifying for the CAF Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.

Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and Cape Town City FC are all tied for second position with 39 points each, while Royal AM has 43 points to its credit. Four clubs are all vying to qualify for the CAF Champions League this season, therefore the remaining matches will be intense.

In order to compete in the CAF next season, Royal AM, who are currently four points ahead of the chasing pack, will need to bolster their squad.

It’s safe to assume that if Royal AM chairman Andile Mpisane posts on Instagram, “Zongo to Royal AM FC next season,” it’s a confirmation that the player will join the team.

When Masibusane Zongo isn’t playing for Platinum, Royal Eagles, or Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, he’s playing for him.

After all, Andile Mpisane’s statement has gone viral, and it may be just what Zongo needs to get his career back on track with a season in the Premier League.
